We are looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team at Mission Auto Center. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for our customers and employees. We are an honest shop with a lot of happy customers as we always try to do the right thing. We recently moved to a nice location and did a full renovation. All of our equipment is fairly new and state of the art and we take pride in cleanliness. We have an in ground alignment machine and another in ground scissor lift as well 1 heavy duty lift for our larger vehicles, diesel trucks, sprinter vans, etc. This shop also has a great culture where everyone gets a long and we plan to keep it that way. Right now we are experiencing a high volume of diagnostics and it has been a lot for the current staff and forcing us to fall behind or just turn down business. We really prefer to have someone come onboard with strong diagnostic skills as we believe this would greatly improve our efficiency, and the demand for that will only increase over time. If you are excellent at changing parts with speed and precision we value that as well and may have a spot for you. European vehicle experience would be a huge plus. This position can be cut-throat as we already have 2 great technicians and we really want someone to fill in the gaps and not be less qualified than the current staff. If your skills meet the shops requirements, pay will be very competitive and there is a possibility for profit-sharing or receiving a portion of the shops total sales, and becoming the shops main tech/foreman. Essentially becoming part owner without worrying about the legal aspects or customer relations. We see pretty much everything so if you are looking for shop that has the challenging vehicles to diagnose or one that needs a large repair, this shop will provide as much as you are willing to take. As a result you can gain some valuable experience every day and learn more in 1 year than 3 years at another shop that doesn't see this type of work. This can very rewarding to those that are qualified yet too much and overwhelming for those who aren't. Please take that in consideration when applying as we unfortunately do not have time to be training and don't want to let someone go because they were not honest in what they can and cannot do.
